Caru Llamas is the home of approximately 30 llamas. For the past several years, I have carefully selected stock with attributes that would compliment my breeding program to create my vision of a "llama of beauty". I have a special interest in developing a prepotent line of silver llamas. To achieve my goal, I have carefully selected three silver herd sires: "Chromium", a full Chilean male, "Silver Moon Mercury Rising", an extreme suri, and "White Star's Quick Silver", a full Peruvian Canadian suri import. I also have incorporated many import animals into my herd . Caru Llamas takes pride in the friendliness of the llamas raised on the farm. Llamas with good dispositions are critical for easy handling, caring for, and having fun with. I am professionally a Developmental Therapist specializing in behavioral management in infants and toddlers. Having a behavioral background and years of experience training and showing horses and cats, I have been able to use that knowledge to benefit raising llamas.
